Not fingers but strong roots do some veggie nuggets that are quite nice as well as some veggie burgers, the pumpkin and spinach burgers are a hit in our house
Both my kids HATE veggie fingers.. I don’t care about salt/sugar content. I just give fish fingers & chicken nuggets lol.
If they are being given now and again I don’t think it really matters tbh, but if it’s something you’re going to give regularly then I would find low salt/sugar content ones. My 7.5 month old had freezer fish fingers last night and hated them but I made them for him during the week from scratch and loved them 😂
@Jasmine sometimes you have to my middle child , he was prem and he could be on the spectrum but he jist will only eat a beige diet lol .... Even at his nursery they offer a whole range of good foods, which they'll try with him however 9/10 , it's been fish fingers or nuggets lol 😆- he has a real issue with textures , he won't even have cereal together all has to be separate 🤣
You know you can just make these yourself right? Mashed potatoes with veggies of choice, shaped into fingers and added bread or panko crumbs.. that way you can add whatever spices you want and have complete control. You can even bulk make them one day so you can conveniently take them out on days you dont have time
@Shay yes, I do make them at the moment, looking for a quick alternative to keep in the freezer as a backup.
@Oliwia we have these veggie nuggets and my toddler who is very fussy ate a couple so I’m hopeful. I’ll try the veggie burgers you suggest too!
You don’t batch make them and store them in the freezer for something quick to grab?
@Shay yep that's what I currently do but I still want a back up.
Aldi do some! X
