Is your kiddo eating meat?

Our son doesn’t eat a ton of meat. He gets his protein from mainly dairy. Today after eating a Christmas cookie I noticed his eczema flare which makes me think it’s a gluten thing and he mainly consumes like grilled cheeses, quesadillas, pasta, etc. my guess is because a cookie isn’t baked very well it caused a flare. Kinda panicking because his protein and carbs is normally wrapped around gluten in some way or atleast paired. I know our pediatrician would recommend just protein, fat, and fruits and vegs very normal standard stuff. Just one of those things where if he doesn’t consume a ton of meat what do you do?

I let it be. Mine doesn't really eat alot of meat either. He loves cereal, pastas or any fruit. I'm hoping it is a phase and it won't last forever

My 18 month old eats chicken and liver. I find that the liver has a texture that’s easier for her to chew and swallow. I’ll add the baby food beef pure to a bottle as well lol

I’m a vegan and my son is mostly vegetarian. We get plenty of protein outside of meat from legumes, tofu, quinoa and nuts. Unlike me he does also eat dairy. It’s really not necessary for your toddler to eat meat.

We get him to eat meat. Honestly, generally we offer him whatever we are eating

If you want I can send some high protein vegan meals
