@Monique ah I wasn’t sure lol
I had the same question a few weeks ago. He would head butt and push against anyone and everything and giggle. Boys are rough, from what i hear itll eventually stop. Just keep an eye out to keep him from getting too dangerous for him. They learn faster by doing.
@Monique his my first baby and he makes me so exhausted lol. Having to tell him to get off that or stop climbing that lmao
@Kathryn my sons my first too. I learnt from my nannying days that just telling them not to and removing them from what theyre climbing on is just gonna make them want to climb it more. Let him climb, just stay close to catch him or comfort him when he falls. My son used a box to climb up and stand against, he fell backwards whacked his head (he is fine) but he hasnt climbed a box since... climbs other things tho but only when im behind him, though when im letting him rough play im always behind him during rough play after the sound that whack made
@Monique I keep telling that to my partner as our son likes to climb the coffee table and I leave our son to it as he knows how to climb on & off it and had only fell off it once and got straight back up. When my partner tells him off for climbing on it he laughs but he doesn’t listen to me when I tell him let him climb on it lol. Glad your son is okay!
Babies arent as fragile as they first seem its crazy
@Kathryn men tend to freak out more. I accidently dropped a big bulky phone on my sons head once only reason me and little one freaked out is cus my ex started freaking out most
@Monique I hated holding him when he was newborn was so scared I’d drop him and now he loves to be thrown on the bed lol
My son used to headbutt the wall when he was mad that we put him in his pack n play. Thankfully that stopped.
My 2 yr old head butts the floor on purpose during his tantrums and then gets even more upset that he hurt his head
@Mary a kid i nannied did exactly that... she quit when all i did was look at her and just said "bet that hurt" or "did we learn something?"
@Monique yeah I wish my son learned from it lmao he never learns I had to take him to the ER for staples for a scalp lac because he kept jumping on the couch…as soon as we got home he started doing it again. Boys 🤦🏻♀️
My son does it when he is super tired lol it’s normal and also boys are rough and dare devils
It’s normal but make him stop lol
