I also found when I switched that since my baby was getting adequate food with formula he had enough in him to actually spit up, whereas when I was breastfeeding he was too empty to spit anything up. A little spit up is normal! Spitting back up the whole meal is not. I would ask your ped.
Google "pace feeding" and make sure he's not taking the milk too fast Also you say "changed to formula for the moment" - are you planning to return to breastfeeding?
I was originally breastfeeding too and switched to combi feeding after 8 days. When we started with formula she was bringing up a lot of milk with every feed (sometimes projectile). She's now 1 month old and she only brings up now a minimal amount. I spoke to the GP and lots of midwifes about it and they said it's 'normal' and that I was prob overfeeding her.. (hard not to when she's asking for food/top ups quite regularly). We didn't change formula and it seems to have improved as she's getting used to it and her digestive system develops. Hopefully, it gets better for your baby soon too
It's probably just this particular formula, try another one I'd say
