What solids are you giving your babies?

Since my baby will be 1 soon, I want her to start eating more solids and not rely on my breastmilk as much. What are some things you offer your little ones for breakfast lunch and dinner? Trying to figure out new things

For me it depends on how many teeth your baby has. Mine has a ton so I’m a little more comfortable. I give my baby eggs, beans, rice, soft chicken, kind of a bite or two of whatever we are eating as long as it’s not spicy? Sometimes (I know it seems gross) but if she wants something and there’s o much seasoning, I’ll suck off the seasoning and then give it to her. Honestly I’d try just giving her a bite of your foods and go from there. They will gag. Gagging is okay. It teaches them their limits and how to avoid them (it’s terrifying though I know♥️) but as long as they’re not choking, let them try things for themselves and feeding themselves. They love the independence!

Today she's having pancakes, scrambled eggs, and and hashbrowns. For snack she'll have strawberries with graham crackers. For lunch she'll have leftover spaghetti 🍝 with peanut butter toast on the side Next snack is undecided but she basically eats whatever the rest of us eat just prepped differently or cut/mashed

My daughter only has one tooth and she eats everything from pancakes, to cottage cheese, to steak, to grilled cheese, strawberries, pretty much all fruit, eggs, etc. anything that’s too hard gets cooked down a little but she chews as if she has teeth. And everything is cut into small pieces she can mash in her gums! She pretty much eats what we eat though
