Extra formula scoops

Hi! My MIL looked after my 4 month old today and has somehow, we think, managed to add an extra 3 scoops of formula to his bottle. What should have been a 6oz bottle with 6 scoops is now possibly a bottle with 9 scoops. Should I be worried? Or, as a one-off incident, will he be fine? He didn't finish the bottle, so he left about 2oz. Thanks in advance!

It will be fine as a one off but if it happens a lot, it can cause dehydration and constipation. As long as your baby is still having wet nappies he will be fine

He will be ok that's good he didn't finish it! But it will probably make him a bit dehydrated and may have some tummy pains. Make sure she doesn't have to make them up again my mum did a similar thing 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

One bottle is fine don’t worry! Xx
