High blood pressure

Wondering if anybody has advice or information on gestational hypertension/high blood pressure. I've had it for a few weeks now. They've got me on lebetalol and they've just upped the dosage because my BP was still rising. Also, I just had a growth scan, and the baby is 27th percentile and doing good. Has any body e...

How do you count age

Do you start counting your babies age on the day they were born and number of days, or is it the day of the month? For instance, my baby was born July 3rd = 12.8 weeks 90 days 3 months OR….. this October 3rd my baby is turning 3 months old.

Weeks

Can someone explain the weeks to me, so from when I ovulated I would be three weeks but my app tells me I’m at the five weeks cause it goes from the first day of your last period? 🙈

I was on it before I got pregnant and it worked great, I’ve since started taking it again and been on it around 2 months now My anxiety started getting better but last week I had an episode of feeling lightheaded and ever since it’s just been so b...

Do I tell my parents when I go into labour

My parents have been extremely overbearing regarding my pregnancy choices and raising the baby (they’ve been the main cause of stress for me throughout). They are also extremely dramatic, they believe I should be in the hospital from my first contraction and should stay in for minimum 4 days. They are the kind of p...

Just found out

Just found out I did multiple tests as could really believe it. Any one else just terrified and worried it will go wrong. Told GP they don’t do midwife apts there so and to self refer to hospital so I won’t speak to any medical professional to at least 7w apparently. Apart from careful with food. No alcohol and ta...

Breathlessness

Hi all. 34 weeks 4 days today. Anyone experiencing quite severe breathlessness? Saw my midwife today and spoke to her about it. She was fairly concerned and wants me to have bloods repeated and if they are fine then to speak to. Gp. I'm pretty sure it's just the position he's in pushing everything up etc. I'm a supp...

Anxiety and high blood pressure

Anyone else have high BP? I historically have borderline high blood pressure but no one cared before as I wasn't pregnant. I got admitted at 22 weeks because of a high reading (170/90) in MAU. I know I have white coat hypertension but obviously they needed to follow their protocol. I am now medicated and mostly my B...

Would you go to the doctors?

So I’m 9 months postpartum. Since I gave birth I’ve had episodes of tachycardia where my heart rate has gone above 175bpm 7 times (which my Apple Watch has picked up) on 3 of these occasions it’s gone up to 210bpm!! I’m worried that I’ll call doctors and because it doesn’t happen infront of them they won’t believ...

Pregnant at 6M PP!

With my firstborn we tried for 3 long years before finally conceiving naturally, and so we had made the decision to not use contraception after I gave birth. I’m in my 30s and I knew I wanted more children so I figured it was for the best. Now that I am pregnant, I feel shocked! I don’t think I expected it to happen...

Sons actual age

I saw yesterday that I may be counting my babies age all wrong! He was born 6th May, so I have been counting the weeks, meaning yesterday he was 21 weeks old, so a little over 5 months. But I saw that after the first month, people are counting it from the 6th of every month, so technically he wouldn’t be 5 months ...

Anyone else starting to resent their baby?

Don’t get me wrong I love her more than anything but I have just hated the whole pregnancy thing and now that we’re down to the last few weeks I just feel bad for being angry at her for still being in there. I know it’s too early and she has to keep cooking but I just want the aches and pains and exhaustion to stop.

Saggy bump

Hi, So i’ve recently seen that my bump is becoming very saggy at the bottom. I’m pregnant with twins so obviously have been stretched to no ends but this is really weird. it’s like so much saggy skin at the bottom of my bump that i can just hold in my hand. although it’s quite sensitive to touch and prod around. i...
