Low Papp-A

Good Morning, I am 12 weeks 3 days with my 4th pregnancy and today found out I have low Papp-A at 0.31. I have never had this before I am freaking out, I have looked on google and they say baby could miscarry in the second trimester which the hospital letter does not say! I’m terrified of something bad happening. ...

NHS investigative tests

Hi all - does anyone know the current waiting time on the nhs for investigative tests following recurrent miscarriages? I had an initial consultation with a private clinic and they recommended we do karyotyping, emma/alice tests and sperm dna fragmentation test. I believe the nhs does offer these tests too but wonde...

Is it normal to still not feel great at 15 weeks

My 1st trimester was not fun as I felt nauseous the whole time. Now I’m into the 2nd trimester I’d hoped to feel a lot better. The sickness has definitely improved but I still get days where I feel a bit rough and also low on mood. Anyone else not had a new lease of life yet in the 2nd trimester?

How did people do pregnancy when they have a toddler?!

I've just found out I'm pregnant with our second (yay, very happy and excited). But the early oregnancy symptoms (extreme tiredness, mild nausea, emotional) are hitting hard and already I'm starting to freak out how hard this is going to be with a toddler and holding down a really busy full time job. Any advice? Or ...

Pre eclampsia

So yesterday my midwife sent me into triage as my blood pressure had spiked to what it normally sits around and I also had mentioned babies movements weren’t as often or strong. I arrived there after half an hour and my blood pressure had gone up again and I also had protein in my urine, I had blood tests done and ...

First period

Has everyone started their period since having a baby? I have not and am wondering if I should take a pregnancy test. I am breastfeeding and know that can affect things but with my first I got my period back after 2 months.

Worse nausea?

I feel like my nausea is getting worse as I get closer to the second trimester. I’m 11+6 right now and I feel like the zofran isn’t helping as much and I spend all day nauseated. I don’t know if it’s because I’m hungrier now that baby is bigger or what but it’s uncomfortable.

No signs of labour

I’m 39 weeks and 4 days and I feel no pains or contractions. Is there anything anyone has done to help start things? I’ve been drinking raspberry leaf tea, eating 6 dates, doing the miles circuit and walking. I just don’t know what else to do and I really don’t want to be overdue 😂

Low lying placenta/placenta previa

I was told today my placenta is 5mm away from my cervix and they said they would just check again at 36 weeks - I honestly thought they would want to know earlier than this because if it doesn’t improve I’ll need a C section😭. Anyone else in the same boat? Just curious to hear what others have been told
