My scan will be due around christmas/new year. Do you think that means I'll have to wait until some time in January?

I’m almost 13 weeks and the last couple of days my lower abdomen has been sore, almost like I’ve pulled a muscle there or something - anyone else experienced this? My scan isn’t for another week and trying to remain calm!
