Welp. My morning shower was interesting. I shaved my nether regions and pulled the razor away and there was blood on the blades. Anyone have induction with the first and went natural on the second?

I was induced with my first 2 years ago, and pregnant again due in feb. I really liked the fact I was already in hospital the first time when I went into labour. So my labour went well. Stressing about being at home and knowing when to go into hospital.

Induction

Any positive induction stories pls 😅 Due December 15th but being induced on Wednesday 27th due to gestational diabetes and baby being chonky 🤣 Opted for the balloon as they said there is less risks with this as more mechanical than hormonal, just unsure what to expect, starting to get nervous now 😅

Membrane sweep?

I’m considering a membrane sweep tomorrow as I’ll be 40+3, and I’m trying to avoid getting induced over the next week. If you’ve had one done, pls be honest did it hurt at all? And did it help start labor for you?

Decisions on birth plans

Hi everyone, I am going to be induced on 39 weeks (currently 37 weeks) due to having a big baby. Baby has been consistent on 97th percentile (tbh I don’t understand it all as I am a first time mum). They gave me the option to be induced or C-Section. They spoke to me about the risk of shoulder dystocia and I’ve b...

Delayed induction anyone?

Hi, has anyone had an induction booked in but been called up on the day and told not to come in yet as they’re too busy. How long did you end up waiting for? I was mentally prepared but now feel the anxiety of waiting for a call at any time. Really hoping they definitely call me in for today!
