Prodromal labor

Has anyone else heard of this or experienced it? At my 36 week appointment I told my doctor I was having cramps, contractions and lower back pain for 3 days he said I was contracting but it’s not real contractions they’re just stronger than Braxton hicks 🧐

Hospital stay after CSection

Hey girls, I’m planning on having an elective C-Section with our spring Baby, how long should I be expecting to be in hospital for after the surgery? Is it just depending on how I recover/how baby is doing? Do hospital provide formula if baby doesn’t latch or is this something I’ll have to bring with me? (First bab...

How and when to start recovering core muscles?

Hey mamas, I know a lot of women like to heal their core muscles after birth before slowly getting into workouts eventually. But how does this look for csection cases? I’m 4weeks almost post emergency csection and wondering when to safely start healing my core and how to do it! I imagine past 6week check? No idea! ...

Quick question

So I had an emergency c section 4 weeks ago and this has been playing on my mind ever since the surgery! I just need some mamas to clarify this. So I was told I was going to do skin to skin but this never happened, my baby was placed to me after a few mins of being measured and weighed, he then came to me in a wr...

HE’S HERE 🥰

A couple hours (2pm) after my second sweep at 38.4 weeks we started to get contractions. By 7pm we went to hospital, we were at 4.5cm dilated. They had us walk around for 1hr to see if things would change and nothing. My Gyn was ready to send us home and baby’s heart rate dropped twice so they kept us. After 10hrs o...

Induction experiences please!

I’ve just been booked for induction this Friday (eeeek) and I’ll be 38+2. I’d be really keen to hear anyone’s experiences of induction - the good, the bad and the ugly! Any tips or anything you feel you did to help induction be successful? Grateful for any advice, as a slightly anxious first time mama 😀

Hi I had an unplanned section 5 months ago - first baby but I’ve always wanted 3. When I had to have the section I felt like this had robbed me of future children as if just feels too risky :(. I know it’s way into the future for example for my second I’m going to wait until 2 years pp before trying for baby to ensu...
