I’m 2 months pp and I’ve been having pelvis pain and pressure it effects me mostly at night when I’m laying down. Has anyone had this if so did it get better?
First potential c section in a few weeks and I’ve heard all sorts - take peppermint tea because you can get pretty bloated and gassy? Pain in your shoulders? What everyone prepped for a c section?
37+4 with my second baby. My first pregnancy was a straight forward birth no complications. However, this time round baby has decided to remain in a breech bum down position engaged. I’ve had 3 attempts at an ECV to no avail. I’ve now got to consider whether I want a natural breech birth which I’m supposed to be ide...
39+3 and fully expected to go past my DD as it’s baby number 1 but felt a trickling about 5am this morning went back to sleep and woke up in my waters 🫣😂 no contractions etc yet, anyone got experience with how long it took for them once waters went? I’m still in shock tbh haha 🩷
My understanding is there are three options. Is anyone able to confirm? 1. On the ward (free but not private and partner sleeps on chair). 2. Private room in NHS section (at a cost but private, first come first served). Does anyone know the cost and likelihood of getting? 3. Private room in Kensington Wing (at a g...
Anyone else feel like they are leaking or just have a lot of discharge ? I’m 29 weeks and I’ve been constantly feeling wet. It’s not a yeast infection or thick mucous or anything like that. It’s not painful. It just seems like fluid Of some kind. It leaves my underwear wet. But is not white either. More like clear...
So my original due date was November 10th but my ob wants to do the repeat c section around 37 weeks due to mild anemia. I'm currently 34 weeks and 3 days. Here is my baby bump.
Has anyone else experience diarrhoea after c-section? Myself & baby after eating for me and having milk for bubs.
Had a sweep Monday & was spotting / cramping that night. Lost my mucus plug today. How long after you lost yours did you go into labor? I'm reading it could be days or WEEKS. I was hoping this was a sign 😂
Went to the doctor today and they said well we need you to go to L&D to get induced lol. Baby girl will be coming today or tomorrow
I had my first baby in pandemic times so I did eeeeverything alone, but just suddenly had a thought... what's the norm for antenatal appointments, do dads usually go along too?
Does anyone have a hospital bag list they can share please? I’m planning on starting mine this weekend and need help/advice 😂👶🏼
Genuinely curious for the answer- I see a lot on here that people feel strongly against induction (I’m not remotely trying to argue against this). I’d love to understand why people are so against inductions as I think I’m being offered an early one. Google seems to lead me to thinking inductions are positive, so ...
Im nervous as I’ve only had vaginal births with my first 2, now my little fighter decided to keep her head up at 37+4. Scheduled for c section but honestly praying she will turn because I can’t get an ECV and doctors here have limited experience with vaginal births while breeches.
Hello ladies, have I missed anything?? TIA xx
Omg I’m so exhausted I need this baby out of me!! 38w and my cervix is soft but no dilation. 🤏🏽 this close to drinking castor oil.
Anyone know if sex will induce labor? I haven't had sex with my husband for a long while and I miss the intimacy but im 38 weeks pregnant and we want to have sex will it induce labor?🤔
But when exactly during going into labor do you go to the hospital? My doctor told me to contact her when my contractions are 5 mins apart for 2 hours, but do I decide to go to the hospital when that occurs or before then? I feel kind of stupid for asking but FTM here and I feel like I’m clueless about these sort of...
Hi everyone! How would you describe a contraction to someone who’s not had one yet 😬 can you tell straight away it’s a contraction; what type of pain is it? Thanks
Has anyone heard about Leicester general moving your elective c section date? I’ve been told LRI don’t do that so they are better for c sections and the general is notorious for moving your dates around
