Safe sleeping/cot transition

So I’m wanting to transfer baby into cot soon. However she sleeps like this every single night. It’s how she soothes herself and no matter where she is she has to have her face up against something (safely or supervised, this next to me cot is mesh). However because of the wood on the cot I’m worried she’s going to ...

Is it OK

So my second boy just turned 4 weeks old too. Whenever I put him down to either nap or sleep in his bassinet on his back he instantly wake up and cry. I always pick him up and once he is laying on his belly on my chest he calms down and goes right back to sleep. I know about safe sleep and what to do. He can turn hi...

For babies in own room

How do you know they're awake if they're quiet? When does their "wake window" start if you wake after them? Husband woke me leaving the house at 6:30, so I checked the monitor as usually baby has me up at 6! Baby was lying in his cot wide awake, just quietly looking around. Now at 6:45 I can hear him start making ...

Waking frequently

Anyone else’s babies still waking frequently in the night? My lg feeds twice but just wakes inbetween too which I think is for comfort because as soon as I pick her up she’s asleep so I don’t think she fully wakes but some nights it feels like every hour at times. Tbh I thought by now sleep would be a little better 🙃

Baby unsettled second half of night

My little girl is 12 weeks old, and sleeps really well until around 1-3am, I’ll feed her and try and put her back down, but she’s so restless, she doesnt go back in her next to me, the only way she’ll sleep is if I hold her, so I’m getting little sleep each night. Anyone know why or do your little one do the same?

Night feeds

Our pediatrician said that i should stop night feeds as my baby girl doesn’t need it anymore but i don’t know how as she has associated feeding with sleep. Also she doesn’t sleep in her crib either which is making it very difficult for me to sleep at night🫣 any advice?

I want to cry with happiness 😅

My boy has just done two 4 hour stretches 😱 And this may not seem great to some... But compared to other nights where he often wakes every 30-40 mins... This is amazing!! And the only thing I've done differently is before I put him to bed, I tucked his bedsheet in my top to wear for a bit so it would smell like…

Sleep deprived for 11months

My baby girl has never slept through, the longest stretch she has done is 5 hours and that has only been about 3/4 times at random times of with no connection. We’re now waking up every 1.5/1 hour and taking 2/3 tries to have a successful transfer to her crib and I could be awake for up to an hour doing this every ...

Sleep Regression? Change Sensing?

My 2.5 year old has always been a great sleeper. I’ve always been able to lay him down. Say night I love you and he just goes to bed and doesn’t make another sound. BUT…. For the last month he has REFUSED to go to bed. Nothing with his routine has changed. He will lay down like normal but not even 5 minutes after I...

11 month old wants held all night

I’ve coslept with my 11 month old since she was a few months old as it’s always been the best way for us to get proper sleep as she’s a frequent waker. The past week or so she wants me to hold her all night and wakes up anytime I’m not touching her e.g. if she’s fell into a deep sleep and then I move my hand she i...

Need advice

Please no judgement. But my daughter will only go to sleep after sucking on a bottle. She really only uses it for the sucking aspect. We’ve tried pacifiers in the past but she was not a fan and always preferred sucking on the empty bottle. Does anyone have any advice or going through the same thing?

Baby rotating round the next to me like a clock at night??

Does anyone else’s baby do this ? I put her in her cot vertically and wake up to her horizontal. First time I’ve caught it on the baby monitor tonight (didn’t record her actually doing it but the before or after with ‘scene changed’ notification). She’s 6 weeks old?!? Do I leave her to do this? When I move her back ...

Sleep help

Our baby’s sleep hasn’t ever been great but since 3.5 months it’s been horrendous, we’re nearly at 6 so it can’t be regression anymore. We have days where it improves and you think it’s over then she’s awake all night again. Currently been awake since 2.20, she’s not hungry, nappies fine. Just wide awake. I can’t ta...
