We moved my LO when she was around 6 months to the cot because she was getting slightly too big for her noses basket, she kept waking herself up in the cot so moved her back to the Moses basket. But she’s 8 months now and had completely outgrown the Moses basket. I put her in the cot yesterday but she woke up every ...
We are struggling with daytime naps with LO ( 10 weeks old), so she will only sleep in mine or my husband arms in the day and it’s a whole mission! We have to have white noise on, rocking her, tapping her bum and shh her continually in order to get her to sleep. When she is finally sleeping, sometimes she will onl...
Please can I have some guidance where to find the best floor bed/Montessori bed with high rails so my boy cant climb out and where’s best to look for mattresses as they have to be a certain firmness don’t they for babies and toddler sleep? I will be cosleeping with him from now on.
I have driven when she's fed, clean and due to sleep sbe must cries. Normally she feeds or rock to sleep currently. We don't often drive far for her to nap in the car at the moment but I've drove to my parents house for the weekend (2 hours) and back today and she just gets so worked up. Tried white noise, differen...
My newborn is cluster feeding at the moment. He’s 25 days . during the day he wants feeding roughly every hour. he feeds and then falls asleep in my arms and then I transfer him to his crib. It feels like he’s restless in his crib and he wakes up within an hour wanting more. The nights are far more difficult. last n...
I have a 19 month old and his sleep has gone to pot in the last few weeks, and it was bad to begin with. I still feed on demand and to sleep. We also co-sleep. However he is now fighting his naps and his nighttime bedtime. Last night, it took four hours to get him down and he eventually slept at 11pm, despite waki...
Is anyone elses 16 month old refusing to nap? He definitely isn’t ready to drop it because he will go so tired at around about 4pm if he doesn’t have one but all he does is play in his cot and refuse to sleep even though he’s absolutely shattered. We had the same battle yesterday and he didn’t have one but we put h...
We’ve been going through a sleep regression however, we seem to have managed to cut the crying etc out but taking her so long to fall asleep at night. She’s always been like this with the odd time of it taking only half an hour for her to fall asleep. It’s getting to the point I’m getting so frustrated because I’m...
Baby’s currently 12 weeks old and we are staying at my partners mums at nye and I’m dreading it because idk how baby will sleep in a new environment and also in her pram as we can’t take her next to me unfortunately. So we’ve been doing the same routine for weeks and she’s been sleeping through the night since about...
Anyone else in the same situation and just exhausted!!
My LO almost slept for 4-5 hours at a stretch until last month. For past couple of weeks LO has started waking up almost every hour, wants a little feed, and last night couldn’t sleep at all without being held in arms. Why is the baby craving contact sleep at this stage? Any recommendations? For reference, LO is t...
Finding transitioning to 1 nap really hard. Some days he will breeze through the morning no issues and other days he needs a morning nap. Feel like I don’t know what to expect with my days now and planning around naps etc. how long did the transition take for you?
We’d almost done it around 16 months but then a trip to the hospital set us back. Now my daughter is able to say the word and it’s starting to become a sleep crutch - she can’t sleep without one in her hand and one in her mouth. What strategies have you used to get rid of the pacifier that worked? Right now she on...
How's everyone dealing with it? My boys started the last few days. His morning nap is longer, his wake window after is longer and then his last nap finishes too early for him to last until 7pm bedtime so he's just super naggy from 5:30pm. Last night I put him to bed at 6:30pm but any other tips please?
Could anyone share what pram they’re using? And are our babies sat up now or still laying flat? Can they be sat up if they fall asleep, or is this still dangerous? I’m still scared of sitting him up incase he falls asleep and I also don’t want him facing the world yet 😭 is this reasonable
guys is anyone else’s baby suddenly going crazy at nappy time and when getting them dressed ?!? My goodness it’s become a 2/3 man job to do my babies nappy, you’d think she’s being tortured !!!! Can’t even imagine what my neighbours might think lol. She’s always been fine to get nappy done, dressed, nails cut etc. b...
My 2.5 toddler keeps waking up at night and my husband continues to give her milk when she cries and asks for it. Then my husband wonders why does our daughter keep waking up at night and asking for milk and I said bc you keep giving it to her. He believes that she still needs the milk. She doesn’t. Her height and w...
We've been sleep training using the Ferber method & had amazing results. He's gone from 1-2 hourly wake ups to sleeping 8 hours in 3 days. He now wakes up at 4am and last night was awake for an hour before I caved and got him into bed with me? Any advice for helping them sleep those last 3 hours in their cot?
Any one else? He’s great in the day but has a long sleep before his last feed of the night and then we’re awake until his next feed at 2/3am! Help one tired mumma here!
My 3yo (almost 4) has been awake since 5am. At 7 I made breakfast for her, put the telly on, and told her I was gonna go rest for a bit (I didn't go to sleep until midnight as was doing chores we'd been out all day). There's no dangers in that room, and no choking risks in her breakfast. I've literally only just wok...
