My 3 weeks old sleeps well at night waking every 2-3 hours for a feed but in the day he barely sleeps (from 8 am to about 9 pm). Maybe an hour when go out for a walk and occasional 15-20 min naps. Is this normal as I thought newborn babies sleep more than that.
Did anyone else child make a funny noise that sounds like they’re gasping for air even though they’re completely fine?
Does anyone have a baby who has congenital ptosis (droopy eyelid)? If so, did you opt for surgery ? How was the outcome if you did, pictures would be nice! My 3 month old has had it since birth and the doctors recommend surgery at some point either now or later but she will most likely need it for her vision to deve...
Anyone else's baby only having 1 nap a day?? Mine survived the whole day on a half hour nap from 11.30am-12. She went to bed at 8pm. Some days she will have 2 naps but so often now the second nap of the day is really hard. Most days she has one long nap of 1.5-2hrs so I feel that's probably enough sleep at least ...
My mum looked after my 9 month old today while j went back to work for a few hours. I told her everything she needed but she told me she made a bottle and he had half at 11.30am and then finished off the bottle at 3pm! I think it was left out! Is this OK? I know its supposed ti be drank within 2 hours?
Our baby has started to stop having so much active sleep which is amazing as he was so noisy I couldn’t sleep because of his grunting and squeaking all night. But now I’m constantly checking on him, he’s so still!
I need tips to get him to use a cup. And not wake up in the night wanting more?? My health visitor said so.
Anyone have one of these? Really contemplating getting one as my little girl will be 2y1m when our next baby arrives… Thinking it’s use will only be for 6-12 months, but are they worth the money? (Looking at a 2nd hand one!)
We boil the kettle to prepare baby’s formula but have to constantly be descaling it, I am just concerned it’s not good for baby. Has anyone got any tip to deal with this? Thanks
Hi, I usual pump between 34 and 44 ounces per day. I’ve been sick this back week (baby has bronchiolitis) and I’m in the follicular phase in my cycle, where I usually see a very small drop. Usually from 40+ to about 36/38. I have one pump left today and I have only pumped 24 ounces :( yesterday was 32 for the whole...
We’re entering the 4 month sleep regression and our baby is refusing to sleep well unless on someone. We wouldn’t mind except he scream cries waking up from contact naps and has for a couple of months now. We had accepted that contact napping just wasn’t for us, but now that he needs it we don’t know what to do abou...
My baby has just turned 11 months, weighs around 9.6kilos and is around 71cm - on the 72 percentile. Her legs are bending as there isn’t much room. She’s also uncomfortable and screams for a while when i strap her in. I’d love rear facing recommendations but she is a tall baby. My car is Audi A3 saloon versio...
I need to know to use their drop box. am I the only one who finds it confusing??
Not even 10pm and I've lost count the amount of times my lil girl has woken up crying. We've not slept for 2 weeks now, absolutely broken
Anyone with a next to me bed, are you top and tailing with baby or have your heads at the same end?
My daughter has always been fine in the car but the past few weeks gets so, so upset when she’s in it. Obviously a car seat isn’t cheap.. so I’d rather be certain it’s the seat she’s maybe outgrown rather than developmental (she’s recently on the move) or anything else.. When do you know when you need to change y...
My 1 week old tends to choke on a bottle if the nipple is filled with too much milk (the nipple is a level 1). My husband is moves super slow to pat her back and it drives me crazy. He just looks at her and slowly puts her on his chest. Sometime I want to yell at him to move faster or just don’t allow him to feed h...
Little one is almost 10 months. He is strictly breast-fed. Bottles were introduced in the beginning, but stopped due to complications that we thought the bottles were causing. They were not introduced again, though after the complications were resolved. He will not take a pacifier or a bottle. He just chews on them....
Hi First time mum and trying so hard to express as much as possible, our little man is currently still in NICU due to C section at 33 weeks, initially my volume of milk was good, however the last 2 days there has been a reduction. Little man working hard with latching and suckling. Looking for any advice or guidan...
I just look at her and burst into tears thinking about how she wont be this little for long at all. Its a constant thought and makes me very sad. Anyone else have this?
