18 month olds

My son doesn’t play with toys just bites everything, he doesn’t play with other children will walk away from them, he likes to lick stuff too ie the floor and windows, he doesn’t say any other words other than mama when he’s upset but he does babble and he doesn’t respond to his name. Is anyone else little one like ...

Baby constipation

Any tips. My 10 day old has been switched from BFing to formula and she seems constipated now. We do the bicycle kicks foot rub and tummy rub (as carefully as we can because she still has her umbilical cord stub). Any other things ppl would recommend to try and help her poop?

Cyprus - Sterilising

Hey, Has anyone been to Cyprus Paphos for a holiday? If so how did you sterilise the formula baby bottles? Also did you use mineral water for making the formula milk? I understand I have to use mineral water with the least mineral content. Any help will be really helpful xxx

Fighting feeds!

Anyone else’s 4 month old fighting the bottle? He’s always been formula fed and never had a problem. But now every feed is such a battle! He’s hungry so I know he wants it but he’s just knocking the bottle out of his mouth, and so distracted by everything else around him! Takes so long to get through a feed thes...

Silk bedsheets

Has anybody used silk bedsheets for their little one? My little girl rubs her head on the cot a lot when settling herself to sleep and I’ve seen ads online about silk bedsheets and I was wondering if people actually had experience with them and if they’re worth the hype! She’s not lost hair yet but hoping to preve...

Nursing bra

Can anyone recommend a good nursing bra with clips that’s not too expensive for larger cup sizes? I’m a 36F so the wrap over ones hold nothing in 😂

Child safety - windows

*Child - safety question*** What child safety restrictions have people got on their windows? I know they are sometimes in-built but don't look like they are. Have seen some on Amazon but not sure if they'd fit - the ones where your windows just open a bit not all the way .

Just a reminder

that it is biologically normal and completely natural for babies to sleep on us and next to us. Putting them down in cots and cribs etc. (even if it is safe) goes against natural instincts. So if your baby is resisting, rest assured there's nothing wrong. Enjoy the contact naps and cosleeping while it lasts!

Bedroom doors - open or closed?

Just curious as to what others do at night with bedroom doors. Do you leave both yours and children's doors open? Do you close all doors? Do you have one open and one closed? Little chap is still in with us at the minute (house reno mixed with him still waking a million times a night) but he'll be trying his own r...

How many hours of total sleep (night time plus naps) is your September baby getting each day?

I feel like my baby sleeps less than the recommended amount. We do 3 hours of naps and roughly 10 hours overnight. She does seem happy and content but I do wake her up some mornings too otherwise it throws everything else in the day out. Her wake windows seem accurate so if I let her sleep later, her bedtime would a...

How much milk?

How much are your little ones drinking each feed? My little one is 3 weeks old and won’t drink anymore than 2oz each feed, should I be worried? She feeds every 2 hours during the day and longer stretches throughout the night!

Hello everyone Second time mum here with a hack for you all if you didn’t already know 🤪 make sure you and your family all download Emma diary’s app and collect your free packs. Rolling in sleep

I'm dyyyyying. We were FINALLY sleeping longer stretches again. That lasted like 2 days. Now she just rolls onto her tummy all night long and gets stuck. I have to keep flipping her over only for her to do it again. I have no problem letting her sleep on her tummy except she's crying and complaining. We do tummy tim...

Swaddle to Sleep Sack

Has anyone swapped their child from a swaddle to a sleep sack? My 9 week old only does long stretches of sleep if he is swaddled but I want to try and slowly transition him over rather than go cold turkey but he wakes himself up by hitting himself in the face with his flailing arms 😂 If you have successfully done…

Baby carrier

Recommendations for baby carriers that can be used before 3 months. I was looking at the momcozy but it’s from 3 months. I had an ergo baby with my first but I’m now not able to use that one. I liked the style of it so looked at getting one but they’re pretty expensive new (was gifted to me before).
