I got prescribed progesterone today and unsure if i need to take it to the gp or the pharmacy 😂 im probably having a dull moment but Ive confused myself
Im married with 2 kids and not looking to have any more soon. Ive looked into different forms of contraception but they’re not for me. My question is; if you’re having sex with your husband everyday/multiple times a day isn’t it expensive to keep buying condoms? Like doesn’t that put you off having sex? Genuine q...
I’m currently in a FWB (friends with benefits) relationship with a guy. He doesn’t like using condoms. Most guys don’t like using them. So I just take pills.
Im 6 weeks post partum with my second and I am looking at contraception options. I’ve previously always been on the pill (I’ve tried combined and progesterone) and although I’ve been ok on both I didn’t love either (plus I didn’t have a toddler and a newborn at the same time which might make remembering to take my p...
So I was recently diagnosed with a yeast infection and given 3 pills to take to cure it. So I took one and did some research on the medication.. only to read it’s not recommended in pregnancy. I called the obgyn on call and was told not to continue taking those and use monistat instead. Like wth now im worried shitl...

Back story of me - been on sertraline for 2 years and been on 100mg since December 23 but the dose is too high now I think I’m struggling to feel any emotion. And absolutely no up and go about me. Been told to take 50mg of sertraline and then 20mg of citalopr...
I just had my second boy and I want to get on birth control as soon as possible. The only one I want to get is the copper iud bc it doesn’t have hormones. Does anyone know how long u have to wait after birth to get it put in? What are your guys experience with getting this after having kids?
Has anybody had an bad experience on the depo injection? Or had a good experience on it?
I want a non hormonal birth control and it’s between the copper iud & spermicide…the iud is way more effective but I’ve heard it can cause heavy periods & worse cramping. Wondering if there are any other negative side effects I should know about? What has been your experience if you have it?
Can anyone suggest me suitable birth control and from where can I get ? No plan for babies now.
Has anyone tried out Phexxi or another spermicide? If so, how did you like it? I want a non hormonal birth control (and not the copper iud) and simply cycle tracking is how I ended up with my baby girl lol.
Asking because I genuinely do not know and Google says two things. I got prescribed amoxicillin recently because I have strep. I’ve HEARD that antibiotics can lower the effect of oral birth control and I was wondering if someone can help confirm this? The nurse that prescribed them didn’t mention anything but I want...
Is anyone on birth control ? If so, which one & what’s your experience ? I’m thinking of trying the patch & wanted to know any experiences with it .
Hey girlies I’m wondering if anyone else has had something similar, I used to be on the mini pill before I was pregnant and I’m lucky to have short periods (3-4 days) when I was on the pill my periods would stop completely, I’ve probably been on the pill about 2/3 weeks now and am now bleeding, it gradually increase...
I have been put on Desogestrel which is a mini pill post birth however for the last 2 weeks I have had constant bleeding with it. It is not heavy enough to call a period but is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this?
How do I stay safe? Can someone please tell me about coils which are best etc..or do I just stick to condoms because I'm so scared of anything going in there that far like coils.
So today I’m 3 weeks postpartum with my second, and I have had the depo contraception injection. This is new to me. Did you get any side effects? And did you get a period? The nurse said the majority of women do not get periods with this injection. Thanks!
I just got my first positive after using contraceptive and emergency contraceptive. Safe to say , it doesn’t work sometimes. I am not sure how to feel about this because I wanted to wait a little longer , but if anybody has advice for two under two , it would be greatly appreciated. I feel so horrible for feeling so...
that i would have to spend so many years of my life worrying about getting pregnant. i’m only 23 and you mean to tell me ill be thinking about this for another 20-30 years??? eventually my husband will get a vasectomy but still there’s always a chance. i don’t want birth control, tracking my cycle is tiring and stre...
