Sex with condoms

Im married with 2 kids and not looking to have any more soon. Ive looked into different forms of contraception but they’re not for me. My question is; if you’re having sex with your husband everyday/multiple times a day isn’t it expensive to keep buying condoms? Like doesn’t that put you off having sex? Genuine q...

Do you use condoms with your partner when having sex or no?

I’m currently in a FWB (friends with benefits) relationship with a guy. He doesn’t like using condoms. Most guys don’t like using them. So I just take pills.

Contraception options

Im 6 weeks post partum with my second and I am looking at contraception options. I’ve previously always been on the pill (I’ve tried combined and progesterone) and although I’ve been ok on both I didn’t love either (plus I didn’t have a toddler and a newborn at the same time which might make remembering to take my p...

Copper iud?

I want a non hormonal birth control and it’s between the copper iud & spermicide…the iud is way more effective but I’ve heard it can cause heavy periods & worse cramping. Wondering if there are any other negative side effects I should know about? What has been your experience if you have it?

Birth Control

Has anyone tried out Phexxi or another spermicide? If so, how did you like it? I want a non hormonal birth control (and not the copper iud) and simply cycle tracking is how I ended up with my baby girl lol.

Antibiotics and birth control

Asking because I genuinely do not know and Google says two things. I got prescribed amoxicillin recently because I have strep. I’ve HEARD that antibiotics can lower the effect of oral birth control and I was wondering if someone can help confirm this? The nurse that prescribed them didn’t mention anything but I want...

Depo injection

So today I’m 3 weeks postpartum with my second, and I have had the depo contraception injection. This is new to me. Did you get any side effects? And did you get a period? The nurse said the majority of women do not get periods with this injection. Thanks!
