I don’t know if my baby likes me
Hi, my baby is nearly 9 weeks old now and I do about 99% of things for her but I just don’t know if she likes me or knows I’m her mummy. Every time I get smiles or cuddles someone always comes in and takes over. They either come and ask me to move so they can get smiles or they just want the lovely sleepy cuddles. I do the behind the scenes things like changing, making bottles, getting the bath ready etc. but it’s making me so sad she’s not wanting me solely more. I’ve cried a few times about her not liking me and it’s makes me so upset to think she doesn’t love me. I love her so much and do think I’m a good mummy and just want her to want me 💔 what do I do? 😭

You’re her mum, she definitely likes you . Sounds like she’s giving you affection and people are getting in the way, if you can find more one on one time maybe you’ll get the amiles and cuddles exclusively

If you feel this way then you need to tell people to stop taking over, say no you are totally entitled to say no to people that little baby is yours. If it is making you sad just say no or say you can have the baby when I’m ready. It is up to you, and don’t knock yourself doing 99% of the work day in and day out is exhausting. I’m sure your little baby loves/likes you more than you realise x
