Boundaries in Relationships

After 11 years together me and my husband had a talk about what the boundaries in our relationship are. Some of them we were like duh it’s been a “rule” we just didn’t realize it was a boundary. One of the boundaries is not to make jokes when I turn him down for sex he says he does that out of insecurity because he feels rejected. I understand because I don’t turn him down often so when I do he starts to panic but I don’t like the jokes makes me feel uncomfortable. Anyways I wanted to know what are some relationship boundaries you guys have?

Name calling or insults during an argument. I have to disengage at that point and clear my head, which makes him more insecure & starts accusing me of running away. But I explain again and again why we need that boundary it's just in the moment of high emotion he always panics & tries to control the situation by insulting me for stepping away.

We’re allowed to be angry but we aren’t allowed to yell at each other. If we feel like we’re going to raise our voice, we hit the pause button and regroup later.

Not to go to bed on an argument. Even if it means having a late night. I'd rather sort things out and be tired the next day
