Movements?

Anyone else not able to actually pin point like a routine to babies movements? I’m 25+3 and have been feeling baby move for a good 4 weeks now but there’s no routine to it really! It just stresses me out as midwife has said obviously if there’s any change to the babies normal daily movements then to go get checked out… but because he just moves as and when he fancies I can never tell if he’s out of routine 😂 so find myself panicking all the time!

I’m the same, I think as long as you’re still feeling movements then I would say that’s babies normal. I’ll get worried as I won’t feel him all day and then I’ll lay down on my side and he’ll start moving xx

Mine said that when they say routine they just mean what's normal. So for me that is that I get kicks and flips after eating and normally feel movement when I'm sat down for a period of time

She said if I notice it hasn't moved after I eat then that's "out of routine"

They often don’t develop a pattern of movement until around 28 weeks, until then it’s often very sporadic. With my first baby she was always very active at night and it wasn’t unusual to not feel her throughout the day whereas this one in noticing morning and night she’ll have a little party then go quiet however there’s time for that to change

My son was a bit all over the place - some days I felt him a lot and then other days not much. I usually found if I had a cold drink or something spicy to eat, that got him going. This time baby girl seems to have more of a routine so I think I'll know if something is wrong more easily
