Baby in painful position

I am currently 21+4 weeks pregnant, today I was doing dishes and the baby moved into a super painful position (where my fingers are in the photo). I couldn’t stand up straight, had to go to our bed on my hands and knees, my fiancé said he could feel the baby there. After light rotations the pain went and the baby moved. Just wanted to see if anyone experienced this and is this normal?

I can’t feel where my baby is at 22 weeks, midwife said she’s still really low down far below my belly button. I didn’t know they could be this high up!

No wonder at 21 months 🤭 My baby was never that high up at 21 weeks

@Emmo 😂😂 the worst part is I had changed it from 21 weeks to 21 months haha pregnancy brain

Yep. Some of the positions are mega uncomfortable, even painful at times! I’m 29+4 and little one does not stop moving!

I would say that's quite high up for 21 weeks! It could well be trapped gas. I've had this quite a bit. A really sharp pain up high like that and the relief when it passes is immense. I'm no midwife obviously but that's probably a more likely explanation and is completely normal!

My little boy did this to me! As soon as that bump came in his feet were up there in my ribs, it was quite painful! I did the same as you, rotations, and he moved. He went back and it was an ongoing thing til he was born, but I do hope that’s not the case for you haha! Xx
