No, it can’t. Your breast milk only contains antibodies that your body has already made. It’s useful for baby, who wouldn’t otherwise have those antibodies, but not helpful to you, who does. It won’t do you any harm, but won’t help either. I hope you feel better soon though!

It wouldn't do any harm but it's not going to help either. It won't heal your cough.

Wouldn’t hurt! Try and find out

It should help! I know plenty of moms who said it worked for them

Well sorry to ask u how does it test 🤔

@Rachel I literally just taste it . It’s like sweet water honestly

A friend of mine used it on her conjunctivitis and it cleared right up so it could still help?

I didn’t drink it to try to make myself feel better, I drank it one time because I had forgotten to bring a bottle with me, and had just pumped at the house we had emptied to sell. Drinking it seemed like less of a waste than dumping it down the sink.

I mean, technically it contains antibodies for whatever you are poorly with... but your body already has them. It won't hurt you to drink, if you've got plenty of it. I've tasted mine and it's not that weird, just like cow milk but sweeter ig

Probs won’t heal you but won’t harm you! Plus it tastes nice

What @Sophie says Also if you're only 4 days postpartum I wouldn't be looking to take out any extra milk to drink yourself at your body is establishing supply. If you feed directly and are pumping already then your body is trying to produce enough to feed baby and the pump, you don't want it to produce enough to feed you as well as it'll be a serious over supply

@Cydney lol reduce re-use recycle 😂
