Inducing labour naturally

Hey! What’s everyone doing as of 37 weeks to induce labour themseleves? I have quite a big baby in the oven and have been offered an induction but would really like to try everything I can as of Thursday this week to bring it on naturally to avoid this, obviously last resort being induction as he is already over 7.5lbs at 36 weeks! I plan on eating dates and raspberry leaf tea, pineapple juice and labour ball exercises, walking etc but what other methods do you suggest?

Colostrum harvesting and sex 👍🏻

As you don’t want an induction, you might like to know you don’t need to be induced for a “big baby”, scans are 50% wrong when predicting weight 💞 https://thebirthuprising.com/big-babies/

Hi, I'm in a similar situation with trying to bring it on naturally to avoid induction next week. I'm trying to do same things as you mentioned and also sex (with penis - something to do with the hormones in the sperm I think), orgasams/clitoral stimulation, nipple stimulation, baths, spicy foods, and colostrum harvesting. A lot of homework 😅🤣

Following lol

Following too as my baby was 6lbs at the 34 week scan and so know idea what he’s going to be at this weeks 38 week scan. No mention of induction yet but I feel like it could be at the next scan xx

All the above but im starting squats and curb walking. Lots of pelvic pressure so i will try my best. Labour inducing mocktail inc raspberry leaf tea, Pineapple juice pomegranate juice. Doesnt sound appealing tbh but im doing that tonight too Induction booked for 40w on 15th May and sweeps from 39w Ideally want to avoid both

My baby boy was measuring around 8lbs 11oz at a growth scan at 37 weeks. I’ll be 39 weeks on Wednesday and having a sweep done. Sweep was successful with my first baby so I’m hoping it works again. I would sit on my ball a lot in the evenings to try help baby get in position as well. Lots of walking too. I’m attempting colostrum harvesting this time around so hoping that helps x

I’m not doing anything personally. I had an induction with my first baby who measured big, 10lbs 3oz at 39+ 3. You can refuse induction, they cannot force you to be induced.
