Hey everyone I need help

So my daughter was born December 31,2023 and she’ll be 4 months in a couple of days but when I went to go see my uncle he told me that she’s already 4 months cause he’s counting by like the 1st of every month ik im a FTM but I’m confused do I wait till the end of every month or do I count by the first of every month. (Btw he told me it was sad I didn’t know how old my own daughter is which hurt me alot.)

I would count by the end of the month, personally. It sounds like your uncle is being a bit of a jerk and I’m sorry you have to deal with that!

Okay hear me out. YOUR DAUGHTER. Your UNCLE doesn’t get to decide how you count it. Your daughters birthday won’t be on the 1st of January it’ll be the 31st of December so hope that helps

I just count it by every 30 unless the month doesn’t have 30 then I just count out 30s lol. So that’s just personally how I do it

My son is the 30th of December, so he will be 4 months tomorrow, if the month doesn’t have a 30 ( Feb ) I went by the 29th as his cousin was born on the 1st so they use that date

Right now my son is 3 months until tomorrow

I’m having this same issue. My daughter was born January 27th so in my mind she was 3 months old on April 12th just because I go by weeks so it’d be 12 weeks but calendar wise she’s not 3 months until April 27th. Super confusing.

The most confusing thing for me too so I just downloaded a phone widget to count for me. I can add multiple of them on my phone so I have it for how long me and my boyfriend have been together
