Feeling lost

Hi everyone. I’m new here, I have 2 amazing teen girls. I’ve dedicated my motherhood part of my life to them, I’m trying to find myself again. I’m thinking of jumping in to Pilates and spin class but I’m also a bit scared .. lol idk if that makes sense

I dunno what spin class is but I’ve been dancing salsa for 2yrs now..it’s another option. Let’s me dress up for the night and I have somewhere to go every Friday night if I don’t have any other friend meetups. Whatever it is you wanna do just do it I do not regret taking up salsa one bit as for me since a teen I’ve always envied girls that could dance well at Latin festivals etc and now I can actually join in instead of just watching

They are 2 different types of exercise. Have you been getting your steps in? Yoga is slow but you need strength. Spinning will give you dopamine but you need a level of cardio. Walking and hiking is a good start to build up fitness, start trying out your workout clothes on hikes then plant yourself in the back of a class and be vocal saying hello to people as soon as you see them so you can welcome yourself into the room. Spinning Don’t put up the resistance for the first few, just keep pedalling at any slow pace, just keep the movement. Once you’ve done that then increase the goal a little more but don’t try to keep up with the class mates. Take it easy and enjoy easing yourself in
