So I just found out today that I have mild Anemia and I'm currently 33 weeks and they want me to have a c section around 37 weeks I'm nervous even though my last baby was a c section as well. She was too big to push out. My youngest now a year and a month was 10 pounds 8.1 oz. I just wish I didn't have to have a c section
@Lupe @Joy is feel like having a c-section does take away that special moment from you like skin to skin contact aka the golden hour. And even tho c-sections are safer than regular labor (according to an article ) it’s still scared so much can go wrong and you can wish the best.
@Ale I never got golden hour withy last bc I was too neasous I feel robbed
@Ale i dont know what article you read but that is definitely incorrect! I wanted a natural birth after my previous section and was told that both are high risk but natural is safest. This is why unless there is reason to they will not just let anyone choose to have one.
@Katie i figured they were both high risk. But I think at the end of the day we all just want our baby’s to be healthy and safe. I’m only 4”11 and my partner is 6”0 my son was 9lb and 2oz doctor said I was too small to push him out . And now with my daughter same thing the Father genies are just too strong😂
Apparently they don't schedule a C-section before 39 unless it's medically necessary
@Ale can you send me the article saying c section are safer than natural labor? I have never heard such a thing
My OB told me she couldn’t schedule my c section at 38 weeks because of my insurance. My insurance only allowed it to be scheduled after 39 weeks even though I gave birth at 38 weeks. May be different for you though! That was just my experience with my recent pregnancy ☺️
