Getting induced was much better than I thought it would be. I got my epidural before I felt my contractions although I didn’t really feel mine to begin with. And felt nothing but pressure and like I had to poop.
My induction last Tuesday went well! I was also super nervous. The delivery was rough, but just because baby and I both had a few diagnosed complications (pre-eclampsia, placental dysfunction, severe IUGR, and baby's heartrate kept dropping during contractions). I ended up needing a c-section. The c-section also went pretty good. I'm terrified of needles as well. The rough part was just that it was all so sudden and I was having a hard time understanding exactly what was going on woke I was on so many medications. I'm sure you'll be okay. Aside from the chaos, mine was completely fine.
My induction was honestly pretty easy going.. I slept through most of my labor which made it go by quicker 😂
Update: I’ve rescheduled my appointment for Wednesday I couldn’t get past them checking my cervix (i have a lot of anxiety and fear around medical practices) going to try to naturally get labor started wish me luck 😩
Good luck!! Everything got better for me once baby was here. I hope it will be the same for you.
I been induced twice they went really well for me. If your getting the epidural and had trouble sleeping your getting the best sleep of your life. It's scary but once it's in your one step closer meeting your little one
