Getting back in shape Post C section

I had a c section over 3 years ago in 2021, I’m 30 and at 175 and I want to lose weight so badly but I don’t know what’s the best program or style of exercise that is best suited for women who’ve had a c section. Any suggestions? Should I go for personal training? Weights/strength training? Yoga? Pilates? Something that will effective in weight loss but also not damage my abdomen as I do have a bit of a diastits recti separation as well. Thanks !

Grow with jo on youtube is amazing i love her workouts ive started doing them as im in the same position i had a couple section over 2 years ago now and im 25. But the pouch is so hard to get rid of! Also loosing weight is 95% the food you eat and diet obviously exercise is good too but its mainly the diet that plays a massive role xx

I know I can’t so sit ups anymore or anything that really involves over working my stomach muscles.

I would get professional advice on the separation to not do any damage

@Lauren Thanks for sharing ! I wasn’t able to see what happened here but I appreciate your information that here

@Emily should I go to my family doctor?

@Nancy I can do sit-ups but I try not to do so many in case I end up hurting myself - I jsut don’t know where to start an effective exercise program that suits c section women

Im in the UK and we have mummy MOT type things here. Googling personal trainers that specialise in the issue might help, making sure you get someone who is qualified in such things
