I’ve been hearing that a lot, they must be discussing/pushing this in the doctor community…. Why idk but I’m hoping I don’t need too… maybe do some walking, light stretching, walking up and down the stairs etc… talk to baby. Also yes it is ultimately your choice just make sure you do your research on the best way for you to be induced. If your mind and body is comfortable with it go for it.
I’m being induced next week at 39 weeks but it’s by choice because of my situation I’m in. Although it isn’t completely necessary it’s the only way I’ll have the support I need at that time. I live in a state with no family.
@Alissa Good luck to you!! Safe delivery 🥰🙏🏾❤️❤️
I personally tried to induce naturally. Tried crossing off everything before the actual induction because I had crossed the 40 week mark. Spicy food, lots of natural oxytocin 🫣😉 Raspberry tea and SO MUCH walking. Like I'm saying straight up fast walking for like 40-45 minutes in the backyard. Threw in lunges too 😅 I went into labor 2 days before my induction day and had her the morning of it 😅 At 6am. She was 8lbs, 15oz. I did opt for an epidural because I was terrified of the ring of fire l. but I definitely pushed her out naturally. Hardest thing I've ever done 😅 36 hours of labor, first 15 hours weren't that bad. Once I got to 6 and 7cm, I started really feeling the contractions. They had to manually break my water at 8cm which is why there was so much pressure. But they prolonged breaking it because I also think it's safer for the baby that way. Going to try and do all the same things for this time around. Even though it won't be the same 😅
@Kay thank you ❤️
Personally it sounds unnecessary. My baby is a lil small because I’m small and all my kids have been average/small. Then they come out and turn into marshmallow babies. If everybody is healthy then that’s it. But also if your tired and want to get induced then that’s your ✨choice ✨🤗
