@Elizabeth Elle thank you very much
Don’t feel pressured into a date/timeline just to suit the hospital schedule. Tell them you’ve decided to wait and see if labour starts on its own. They can’t force you to do anything and you are totally within your rights to do this. You don’t even need to book in a new date. Just say you’ll be declining that c-section date and will be in touch if labour hasn’t started on its own. If you get to whatever date and no labour then you can contact the hospital and they will sort a new date. You won’t be forgotten about or left to fend for yourself. Try to step away from the stress of all this as that won’t help labour and just focus on getting that oxytocin up.
We booked for a planned C.S on 1St of Oct and my water broke on 28th sept so I was able to have my Vbac
@Mary wow did you do all unmedicated?
@Porcha Grigsby my water broke a day after I went on a very long walk. I was given a pain relief when in labor but didn’t do much for me
Don’t go. Show up when your in labor. They can take the baby out in 2 minutes, if the labor doesn’t go well. but submit your desires over to God and ask what you should do. But don’t be afraid!
