@Ember I just looked it up and I didn't even know that was a thing I've been getting them in my leg since I was about 12-13 years old
@Kalyn that’s horrible! I’ve definitely had my episodes but only a few in my calves and those were all when I was like 13-16. Since then I occasionally get them in my feet(my arches or my second toe) or very specifically my right hip. I would definitely bring it up to a doctor!
@Ember here recently I've been getting them at the very top of my left foot and I've gotten them so much in my left calf that it's super sensitive to the touch but I'm also missing part of my calf muscle so my calves look very different from one another. But I'm definitely gonna bring it up to my doctor the next time I go
If you get them enough to get used to a Charlie horse in your calves, you need to look into dystonia. People often confuse it with muscle spasms when dystonia is so much worse and you can actually get help for it.
