Gestational diabeties and Polyhydramnios with an 18 month gap, am I mad going for a VBAC induction 👀 opinions please 🙏🏼

Professionals will probably push more towards an elective c section depending on baby's size and potential risks of that. I had GD, baby was 9lbs 12oz born, glad I didn't end up going for my VBAC😅 x

I’m interested in seeing if anyone has had a VBAC Gestational diabetes induction. I’ve had 2 babies both gestational diabetes first was induction, second emergency section after failed induction. Would love another but really don’t want another section it was the worst experience I’ve ever had and caused so much trauma I struggled to bond with baby. I know I’ll end up with gestational diabetes again.

First baby was 7lbs 8oz second was 7lbs 7oz

I had a VBAC, sorry no experience with the gestational diabetes. But I loved my VBAC and so glad I did it. My hospital encouraged VBAC instead of elective but I think the diabetes may change that recommendation
