NSECH Elective C Section

I have mine scheduled for Monday Nov 4th. They didn't give me a time and said I might wait a while. Is be interested to hear stories!

Yes I was booked my mine at 36 week consultant appt/ growth scan They just booked me in when available usually mon-fri Either morning slot have to be there from 7.30 or afternoon slot have to be there from 11.30. Both my c sections were a great experience . You go in get all the checks done get changed into a gown and stocking. Theatre team come to see you then you wait to be called. Then walk down to theatre . Have the procedure meet your baby go to recovery then back to the ward. Any questions just pop me a message x

I was terrified and I wish I hadn't been. It was a lovely experience as ridiculous as that sounds. Everyone was lovely and funny and it's made me want all ops awake! 😂 couldn't recommend enough. I found out i had an afternoon slot in my pre-op but you dont get the time until the actual day. Any questions just ask and I'll try my best to answer x

I had a such a good experience and happy I went down that route. I had a 38 week growth scan on the Friday and said I’d be put on a waiting list. Got a call the following Tuesday with a date for the following Monday. Had my pre-op on the Saturday before and got told I’d be in the afternoon, had to be there for 12. Once I was there met with the consultant who was doing the c section and was told I was second on the afternoon list but got moved to first x
