Frida mom C-section silicone scar patches
I’ve recently purchased these and yet to use them.
I’m a bit confused about how to use, how long to wear and when to remove.
Instructions say build up use from a few hours per day to then 24 hours each day. Each patch can be worn for 7 days. And you can even wear in the shower.
So when you have built up to wearing 24 hours each day, when do you actually remove it? Or can you keep the patch on for 7 days?
I’m thinking it would be best to remove each day when showering etc to clean the scar and let it breathe for a bit before putting back on?

I’d take it off to shower but that’s just me. I agree with waiting until the wound is healed. The Frida mom ones are expensive. You can use any medical grade silicone type. I get mine from my dermatologist.
Oh ok, do you know how long it usually takes to heal??

I saw a scar specialist with my last and he said go ahead with 23 hours a day from the start. Only once completely healed, and do your scar massage while it’s off. You can remove for showers separate from that
