Hospital rules?

I had my baby at the women’s on the 16th. I was in the birth centre and I was allowed 2 birthing partners. Then when I was on the ward I was allowed my partner there 8am - 7pm and the 2 people were allowed to visit between 3-4pm and 6-7pm Hope this helps xx

If your being induced your allowed 1 birth partner to stay with you the whole time until you give birth. After that you can have 2 visitors 8-7. I think if baby has older siblings they can visit with 1 person x

Oh wow I had my baby at good hope and induced and my husband wasn’t allowed past 8pm and they kept inducing at night. That was a nightmare experience to have to do so much, without any pain help besides paracetamol and without him or anyone. You are lucky! Enjoy that experience where you are, that sounds so much better!

@Alicia i had my first at heartlands towards the end of covid so im absolutly clueless as my experience wss still ruled by covid rules

Partner can stay during induction and birth once on a ward can visit 7-7 your allowed 1 notated person and another two time windows
