Mucus plug

I can be hours, days or weeks there really is no telling

I lost some of mine last night, I’m 36+4 so called triage and they said it’s to be expected in the last 4 weeks and not to worry. I’d still call your triage just to make them aware and it’ll give you peace of mind, I’m a FTM and it made me feel better or I don’t think I’d have slept last night x

I went in with my first born 48 hours after my mucus plug as my waters broke, I would just wait and see! X

Also FTM here …. Last Friday I lost what I think was the whole thing like quite a large blob of jelly and googled and it said the whole thing is the size of a 50p coin. Then I had random cramping and braxton hicks galore over Saturday then Sunday 5 pm went into labour with regular contractions and my little boy was born 08:21 Monday morning. I’ve seen a thread in September 24 babies that women had said anything from 2hrs to 4 days ☺️ I was 39 +1 the Friday I lost mine I’d just wait and see what happens and be prepared for both outcomes - baby soon or false alarm and it replenishes itself !

Yeah I really ramped up my oxytocin inducing activities, bath with clary sage oil, did a pamper session, watched our wedding video with a glass of nosecco and it was during that on Sunday night that it was all ago!! Good luck ☺️

My mucus plug has been coming away for about 4/5 days! I’m 38+1 x

I never actually saw any of mine come away had my baby girl Wednesday morning at 38+6

I had a big chunk of mine I think but it was just jelly like with no pink streaks so not sure if it was or not I’m only 36 + 5 :D x

@Amy silly question (if there is any at this point!) what time did you lose your mucus plug? I know everyone is very different but just trying to work out how long it was till you started to notice little signs! I’ve had some bits of cramping but nothing intense very stop and start xx

About 7/8 Friday night ☺️ then period type really muffled cramps on and off Saturday Sunday, then 5 Sunday evening I noticed this same feeling that like blossomed from in between my tummy button and pubic bone then went away again came three times until I was like Hm that’s weird, and started timing them and the next three were all around 10 mins apart, then 5, then they stopped feeling so gentle and I knew 😂

It’s weird isn’t it when you’ve never given birth you’re waiting for something to happen that you don’t know what it feels or looks like until you do, and you will trust me!!
