I’m due BG in December do I have to wait until I have birth certificate to add her on to my universal credit claim? I’m a single parent just wasn’t sure how to do it. When I first signed up my other child was 4. I start my MAT leave 19th November, I’ve let them know I’m pregnant but do I need to tell them anything else?

They’ll know what maternity pay you get :) won’t affect your claim

Yeah pretty sure you can’t add her on until she’s here. In the meantime all you can do is add proof of pregnancy etc
