How long were you dilated for before labor (Ik dilation doesn’t predict labor but I just want to know what to expect for how long I will be dealing with Braxton hicks pain
I just got a cervix check my cervix is high enough that the gyno took a while shoving their fingers to find it, however they said up to 1cm dilated. The baby head is very low and has been like that since 28 weeks but my cervix was closed at 28 weeks.

I gave birth a 35 weeks I was having contractions had a cervix check and was told I was not dilated less than 4 hours later I went into labor
In my last pregnancy, I was less than 1 cm dilated at an OB appointment, but I went into spontaneous labor 2 days later.
My sister had a coworker who was 4-5 cm dilated for 2 weekes before she went into labor 🥴 My sister thought it was wild and thought for sure she should would have have gone in labor long before then. Crazy what our bodies do. Some are not dilated at all and dilate right in active labor and some dilate but take forever to go into active labor 🤷🏼♀️
