Only me!

So.. it could only happen to me. I've come from the September group, been hoping for a vbac but was due a section this morning as baby has obviously been quite comfortable. Came downstairs this morning at 5.15 to get ready to be at the hospital for 7am for my section. Decided I would fall down the stairs, turns out I've broken my left foot toe, my right foot and sprained my ankles and my waters also went in the process. You literally couldn't write it 🙈 sent home in the hope that labour progresses over the next 24 hours if not back in tomorrow for section again. Not looking forward to hobbling around for weeks, trying to look after a newborn and a poorly 13 month old and also recovering from childbirth🙈

Oh my goodness, are you okay?! That's definitely one way to play this whole process on hard mode 🙈

Aahh I'm so sorry. I am sending heaps of positivity and good luck!! Just a little note. Do you know that IF you feel well, baby moves as usual and u had no meconium in the waters, you can safely wait 48hrs? Nearly 100% women will have spontaneous contractions/labour in this time frame after waters break. So especially in your situation with a broken leg I would take the extra time. But it is entirely up to you ❤️🙌🏼🙌🏼☺️ Especially if u wanted VBAC XX

Oh god 🤦🏼‍♀️ you poor thing. Hope you recover well. Good luck with new baby

One day you’ll look back on this and be so impressed with yourself for dealing with all this but holy moly !! What a story it’ll be to tell your children

@Emily haha, fed up to say the least and in quite a lot of pain 😅

@Holly haha, I did say this!

@Chloé Collier haha thankyou! Feeling very sorry for myself and somewhat embarrassed! 🤣

@Gabi started having contractions but they've since slowed down, hopefully tonight 🤞 Baby has a heart defect so I think I'm at the stage where I would rather make sure they're safe than continue trying after the 24 hours has lapsed x

Omg 😅 bless your heart. Can’t imagine the stress you’re under. I hope all goes well! Give yourself lots of grace over the next few weeks. Sending hugs! 🤗
