Hi I’m 17 and going in for my c section at half 5 I was wondering if there was any of young mums who done the same thing just to tell me it will be okay

You will be fine. You will have your baby in your arms in a couple of hours and will all be worth it. 💙

It’ll all seem so scary but once that precious baby is in your arms everything else will disappear! I had an emergency c section and was terrified because i had no time to prepare but the second I had my baby girl nothing else mattered! You can do this!

I had mine at 20 and it was so clam the staff were lovely and really nice. There was music in mine too they had songs on

Hiya I was supposed to have an emergency c section (thankfully they yanked her out with an episiotomy at the last minute) and I was so scared laying in the surgery room but honestly it is all ok! There will be a lovely midwife to hold your hand through it all and people around you to support you 🥰 your birth partner will be allowed in too with you so you’re not alone and people will check constantly on your cut after you give birth to make sure you are physically healing ok x

I had one cos of failed induction and was so scared I couldn’t stop crying, after having the spinal though and they actually started, my daughter was out in 3 minutes and in half an hour I was waiting for a bed in recovery. 16 days later and I feel fine, but still have to take it easy. Trust me you’ll be fine it’s not as bad and scary as you may think 😊

I was 17 and had a c-section; honestly, I loved mine so much that I would do it 100 times. You may shiver because you are cold and have an itchy nose. Take it easy and ask for help; I went in at 8:45 and my daughter was born at 09:09. You will be ok. I didn't feel my spinal at all. Have music playing in the background. Definitely ask for photos you will regret it if you don't. I told them not to tell me when they have started as i was worried i would freak out but i didn't i was away with the fairy's with all the drugs they give you so that will calm you even more. Good luck mama 🤍

When they take the catheter out it may sting it feels like a uti. The first time you get up you may feel abit weird but it's normal i got my feeling in my legs 2-3 hours after. Stay hydrated and eat when you can walk around try do that more it will help with your recovery ❤️‍🩹

honestly so easy. mine was planned and the best most peaceful experience ever x

I promise you will be okay! I have really bad anxiety and I was totally scared! But what I can say is they put some really good drugs in you and with the adrenaline, you won’t even be paying attention to what they are doing once you hear that cry!

You will be fine. I was 20 and i had an emergency section. I promise you, you will be fine xx

I had mine at 16 honestly super chaotic a lot of people talking but just ask politely one at time baby will be in your arms super quick x

How did the c section go 🤞🤞

@Casey CONGRATULATIONS mama there was nothing to worry about i hope you have a speedy recovery and enjoy every moment with you beautiful baby boy 🎉🤍

You will be okay in the end. I know it’s scary. I bawled my eyes out because it was my only option to deliver my baby safely (it was a category 2). And this was my first EVER surgery! So I was absolutely terrified as fuck. But besides feeling that “pulling sensation,” you really won’t feel anything. You got this okay?

@Casey Omg congratulations!! Your baby looks absolutely beautiful 🤍✨
