C section
Anyone else find it annoying they do not give you csection date until 7 days before I do not see myself lasting until 40 weeks , GD and previous emergency csection

I tried pushing for a date today, instead I got told they will tell me 7-11 days before my due date which I think is silly there is no way I'm lasting until I'm 40 weeks 😂 if I've not heard by the 15th November then to email them I'm due 22nd xx
It'll be in the 39th week. Most have set days they do elective sections so might be worth finding out the days (ours is Tues & Thurs for example)
Yeh same as above mine only do elective c sections on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they only do them in the 39 week so I can basically guess when it is xx
I just booked mine yesterday. No problems at all. A doctor asked me if I'd like to book my c section date and we've done it.
I'm 32 weeks now. I'll have my c section at 39 weeks

It's not all hospitals. I've had my date since early August, baby is coming on 26th nov. Is 7 days the general rule for your hospital or could you push for a date now?
