Multiple c-sections

For the ladies who had multiple c sections. I’m due with my second child in December, I had my first child 7 years ago via emergency c-section, I may have to have another (IDK). My question is is the pain and recovery worse then the first one? How was your experiences, can’t lie I’m nervous, because 7 years ago c section recovery was horrible for me the pain was something I was not ready for!

My second was A BREEZE. I was up on my own a few hours later and moving around like nothing the next day. Felt 100% by a week and a half later. I was able to lay down in bed and get up on my own right away too, my first I couldn't for a week

My second section recovery was 1000 times easier. I needed less painkillers and took them for a shorter time. My first one was an emergency and a horrendous experience whereas my second was still technically an emergency, but not time pressured so I think that played a factor too. They cut through the same scar so I wondered if that helped! I was up and about so much quicker too x

My first was an emergency. My second was planned. Not going to say the recovery was instantaneous for the second, but it was a lot easier and I felt back to normal a lot quicker. My daughter was stuck first time, so I guess there was more bruising internally, which I felt. Planned was definitely a much easier option on my body.

I had my second c-section two weeks ago. It was elective. First was emergency 3 years ago. The recovery has been so much easier this time. I'm already feeling much more myself and pain is minimal. I can't believe the difference from my first! X

I had my first section 7 years ago (emergency) and they did the old style stitches where the midwife has to pull them out... She informed me that they did mine too tight and it would hurt a lot (it also explained why I couldn't stand up straight) I then had another section 3 years ago and honestly it was so much better I was up and doing the school run a week later :) I'm now due my 3rd in January and I will be having a planned section again

Tbh I had three all for different reasons and they try to scare you into doing it when the baby is usually fine ofc for obvious dangerous reasons but all of mine kind of felt the same I was numb forever after tho

I had an emergency c-section with my first 12 years ago; had my second baby a month ago & unfortunately ended up with another emergency c-section (different reasons). First 48hrs in hospital were ‘complicated’ trying to move around, but after coming home I’d say this recovery has been easier & less painful than my first for sure! You’ve got this. 💪🏼😘
