I’m in a similar boat but being induced next week due to him being a low centile! I’ve also done acupuncture, reiki and fenugreek (in a curry) x
I had a great induction with my son, went in to get the balloon and was 2-3cm already so didnt need it, they kept me overnight to break my waters the next day, i was taken to labour ward and waters broke at 10:00. I did have a back labour which sucked but wasn’t because of the induction. I had my gorgeous boy at 20:05, hes now a raging monster at 20 months bouncing off the walls and i will be induced again in about 3 weeks so that will be fun 😅 I honestly wouldnt change anything about my induction and am happy to be getting one again (yes they are for medical reasons, but i dont understand why so many people are against them or attack people who want them)
@Lauren thank you!! Good luck for your next induction, hope all goes well! X
@Faye same to you, i hope you have a good experience and get the birth experience you want 💙❤️💙
My previous pregnancies resulted in me being induced. I asked for this. We had such a lovely experience. Baby #1 was 40+2 and I was done so asked to be induced. Was given the pessary type thing (like a tiny tampon) at 9am. Sent my partner home for a sleep and told him to come back at 3. When he turned up I was so excited to see him that the rush of oxytocin made my waters break 😂😂 no one believed me that it had happened so quickly. Baby was born before midnight! Baby #2 was asked to be induced because I was just a wreck. My mental health was at an all time low and I knew I just needed him out. Was given the tampon thing again at 7pm and they sent my partner home as is policy. Which is fine. Contractions started getting worse by 9pm and poor man was called back pretty quickly 😂 nearly didn’t make it. But little man was born soon after that! Keep moving around the ward and bounce on that ball! Don’t stay in your bed, no matter how sore you are, it’ll help get things moving 💚
I’m in the same boat so commenting to follow 🤗
