@Natalie it’s within the country (India) and the doctor did clear me up for flying. But I have read a lot of articles that we shouldn’t fly before 6 weeks
@Sushree I never did it personally, but maybe someone will comment who has. I think aslong as the doctor clears it, it should be ok 💓 xx
I flew two weeks after my c-section and everything was fine! My flight was about 2 hours
Would suggest checking with doctor and wearing compression socks to lower the risk of blood clotting
Check with your midwife, you are still under maternity care for 6 weeks post surgery. I flew 24 hours to Australia at 8 weeks, probably could have earlier but didn’t get baby her passport till then due to paperwork. Wear stockings and ask about aspirin as a blood thinner to avoid clots post surgery in the air. 6 weeks is the usual all clear though xx
Yes
Hey, I would check that with a doctor & also which country are you flying too? Is it internal? Or out of UK? I would check your insurance too, as it’s so soon after make sure you’re covered. Reason being 4 weeks after my c section I become unwell with an infection in my uterus xx
