I gave birth at INOVA Fairfax. Positive experience all around and besides being close to where I live, I liked that it has an infant NICU. I felt reassured in knowing that if anything went wrong, I wouldn't have to transfer my baby elsewhere. It's one of the nicer hospitals in the area. I personally didn't use Tricare Prime (despite being a military spouse myself) but do know someone who did at this hospital.
Had my beautiful baby girl in the Fort Belvoir hospital the room is big and secluded. Honestly beautful view. My TV did not work and they only give you three meals a day but they are free. I think. Bring extra food and snack. Long charger. Hospital staff was very nice and make sure you ask for everything extra. Like diapers and hats . Post partum stuff too . In my opinion even if you are going to breast feed tell them you are doing both boob and formula so you can have extra formula in case .
Fort belvoir and it was a nice experience for me, I had my baby there last year in September
