@Julia lack of communication, no details about his day, not a great settle in- different staff took him each time, he’s been a bit sick few days and they’ve made it like there’s an issue, when he doesn’t do it at home or it’s just a small amount (normal baby sick-up), last week they didn’t change his nappy all afternoon… little things adding up 😔
A lot of nurseries have different staff that go to the door but they are always from the same room, as your babies key worker might not be in just yet so that’s completely normal. How long has he been at the nursery for? Some children take longer to settle in, especially if they’ve never been anywhere before. To make the transition easier you could send in something that smells like you and maybe a little photo of you. I’m guessing he is a sicky baby with reflux? Have you made them aware of that? And the nappy one is not acceptable at all. My nursery changes nappies every 2-3 hours and we always check them before children go home to make sure their nappies aren’t that full or soiled either. However, if you aren’t comfortable with this nursery my suggestion is to go round nurseries in your area and view them but ask lots of questions, especially questions about the things that you are uncomfortable with about at the current nursery x
I’ve only changed nursery’s as in work wise due to not liking the place and how it was ran and also due to complaints from multiple parents. What’s making you uncomfortable?x
