It does seem that the school didn’t get enough applicants wanting the school as their first choice. Seems like you have a good chance
@Chloe I was thinking what are you on about and then I realised 🤣 This is all new to me Chloe haha, but thank you for making it clearer for me to understand haha xx
@Mary thank you both 😊 xx
It could also be that their PAN was 40 (common where I am) and they took 8 at appeal because they weren’t full at infant class size (if that makes sense) and have now increased their PAN But I think you have a great chance yes
@Hayley where are you getting this information from? I'd like to have a look at this for the schools we've chosen 😊
@Lilita your local councils website. Search your council and then primary school admissions. Then it should show all this data 😊
@Amy the school hasn't even got a catchment area and have been taking pupils from 3 miles away so I remaining positive 🤞🏻😅 xx
Yes, 233 would be named as a choice on application, not 1st choice. Assuming they had the same PAN then yeah, they didn’t fill their capacity for 24/25. And yes, I would say at that distance and with a PAN of 60, with it being a low birth rate year too (though I don’t know your local stats or other variables like you say) you should absolutely have a great chance. School is identifiable by their DFE no. incase you wanted to black it out as well.
