Hi, I was registered at Royal Stoke at first and I had high blood pressure, everytime I saw my midwife they sent me to MAU where I was there for hours. My mother in law worked at Leighton so I decided to swap my care to there and it was the best thing I’ve ever done, I wouldn’t give birth anywhere else x

Royal stoke hit and miss, if I have another baby I will be choosing a different hospital. The midwife’s are either lovely and supportive or just don’t care. I’d say 30% looked after me and 70% were terrible shouting at me or looking at me disgusted

I've had 3 babies at Royal stoke 1st wasn't a great experience was over 12 years ago so along time 2nd time was during covid I was looked after and 3rd back in Feb (best experience) I was put on every ward, induction, labour, neonatal, tc and another one and all the midwifes and staff were absolutely fab

I gave birth at Royal Stoke Saturday morning and have no complaints (other than the food 😂) The midwife who was with us for the birth was absolutely fantastic in every way. Then all midwives on the ward were really nice and really helpful

I gave birth in Leighton in May and it was fab. I had a lovely midwife and a student. The aftercare on the ward was great and so were all the antenatal classes before hand 😊

Hi lovely, I gave birth in Stoke and it was good the birthing room/ delivery suite was pretty with strobe lights and music, tv, and equipped with stuff useful when giving birth, the nursing kept rotating so it was kinda sad when I bonded with a specific nurse midwife, I will say the bad part, one of the student midwife's was full of herself and during my contractions and delivery she was flirting and talking to my partner not acknowledging me at all which was lovely 😂😭and when I had an 'accident' whilst pushing she rolled her eyes but that's one amongst many good ones and they were supportive besides that but I just wanted my partner full attention as he wanted to but he's not rude and answered innocently. So yeah!

I gave birth at Royal Stoke and I honestly can't praise them enough. The midwife was bloody brilliant, she didn't just deliver my baby, she was giving me sips of juice inbetween contractions as my other half couldn't deal with the birth and sat in the corner of the room 🤣 I was in the pool room and had mood lighting, so for my first time giving birth, my experience was second to none and I'd go back there again in heartbeat

I had my boy in 2020 at royal stoke it was awful, but it was during lockdown so short staffed and Over worked, I had so many issued it was unreal they tried to give me someone else medication I caught sepsis and almost had a massive air bubble go into my vein ti name a few...

i’ve opted for county hospital this time round as i found my entire time at royal stoke traumatic, i’ve had countless therapy sessions and i still have panic attacks driving past it💀

Leighton
