Every baby is different - some struggle with consecutive days so like @Emily said I wouldn’t overthink it. Our first baby was a lockdown baby and when we handed her over on her first day (there were no settling sessions because of Covid) I realised she’d never been held by anyone else other than her parents and so she did really struggle initially as it was a massive change for her. But within 2 weeks she was fine and would get so excited to see us pull into the car park and her face would light up at her key worker. She did Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays. Drop offs on Fridays weren’t any different in terms of being upset after having days at home than the other days. It’s a big change for both of you no matter what days you do so just be gentle with yourself too and lots of reconnecting when they get home. In a few weeks you’ll be skipping away from nursery realising how much easier life is!
I was going to do exact same.days. thinking he'll be better one day off at home as I'm unsure how he'll sleep.there.
i’ll be looking to do the same after christmas for my LG just works best with grandparent childcare. Don’t see why it makes any difference
Thank you everyone
I’m doing exactly the same days as it was what worked for us childcare wise! I wouldn’t overthink it too much x
