I might not have a choice on the induction front if my GD becomes medication controlled but I would like to try as much as possible to go into labour naturally. I'm just learning at the moment I have to be as flexible as possible and hope I keep the GD diet controlled until he's ready to come out
I'm wanting a vbac but waiting for these extra scans ti see babies position m if baby isn't in the right position then I'm probably going to schedule a section which makes me nervous . They asked about induction and I said no. I've had that IV with my first as my contractions wouldn't go right the first time during a spontaneous labor . They're not nice. For me it's VBAC or section.
I am fairly sure they don’t induce after a previous section, due to the risk of uterine rupture being higher. Double check that but I am 99% sure that I was told this by the midwife or consultant 🤔 In that case, you’d be looking at either VBAC from spontaneous labour or repeat section xx
I’m not having a VBAC I’ve gone for an elective section, however I did initially toy with the idea of a VBAC but would have chosen section over induction. At my birth choices appointment I had to say I refused an induction so it is definitely a possibility at least at my hospital. Never want to go through an induction ever again!
Yeh I was also offered induction, surprised given it went so badly last time!
I’ve decided to book a section for 39 weeks, almost went for 41 weeks to give my body time to go into labour and then was scanned and baby was breach. Think she’s made the decision for me and even if baby turns, I think a section is what I feel most comfortable with
I'm the same, I'm staying away from inductions.
