It took me about 3/4 weeks to feel near enough normal with random twinges here and there.
Honestly wish I could tell you but I’m 6 weeks post section with my first and i’ve just had to be admitted back to hospital to go on a drip because it was badly infected and wouldn’t get better. Literally feels like i haven’t barely healed at all.
@Maria I guess we’re just going to have to be patient 😞
@Steph ah ok ☹️ I might as well take it day by day
@Caitlin Omg that’s scary :( I’m so sorry 😞
I found my second was longer my gosh it was hard I was sent home 24hrs after c section barley able to walk then ended up back in hospital the next day via ambulance as I had a uterus infection and another (cant remember the word for the other infection) and needed double antibiotics I feel like it took about 2 weeks to walk half comfortably x
The ambulance was cause I was sent home to early without being checked they didn't relise I had a infection and made me unable to breath right I couldn't take a breath in without crying x
I'm 11 weeks pp tomorrow after my 3rd csection. I was better able to move by week 2 with much less pain. By a month I was feeling pretty much like myself again.
Take it day by day. A c section is literally one of the toughest surgeries someone can undergo. Everything (including your uterus) is removed from your body. Healing takes 6 weeks minimum. See if you can get help with the toddlers
Don’t be climbing stairs or doing anything rigorous
@Alejandra That’s literally the only way. You’re probably bossing it more than you realise. It’s major what you have been through be kind to yourself xx
Also, take it from me—-I really overdid it and ended up back in the hospital in much worse condition.
It’s not something worth pushing it on!
Girl I’m going the same thing I had my baby Thursday morning n recovery was terrible for me in the hospital n just home in Saturday it’s hard on me right now thank goodness for my boyfriend cause I got three boys at home!
